Hey guys, I play Tau and Necrons and wanted to add in a small army for low point games of combat patrol. The only thing is that it has to be a biker army (excluding eldar because my friend plays them).

I was thinking nob bikers with a warboss on bike.

Is there anything better?

Also, How would I go ahead building this army? What exactly would I need to buy?

if you are going nob bikers + warboss on bike you wont get allot..

the boss itself ends up on 145+ properly equiped.

I think Dark angels ormwhite scars can do it better for that point range.

Vanilla Marines. Theyre cheaper than DA, as to make DA bikes Troops you need Sammael (200pts), and their bikes cost more by default.

Take a SM captain on a bike, maybe with Artificer Armour and definitely a PW. Other wargear to taste.

Then spam bikes (throw in a couple of PG's and MG's) and add a couple of Attack Bikes (MM or HB is up to you. Id vote MM)

Hedgehog has done a few very good Battle Reports with a 500pt White Scars list. Give them a read. Ive posted the first one below. Im sure he wont mind me doing free PR work for his Reports!

Im not to big a fan of the Dark Angels. The ork army is preferable just because I like the look, but the space marines seem like Id get more bang for my buck.

However, what if I add boyz into the ork nob bike list?

I only play Orks, but I don't think they are the Best Bikes for Patrol. Other Bikker come with more options that you can better fit whatever your play style is, depending on your opponent as well.

HQ Warboss (Warbike, Cybork, Power Klaw, Bosspole)
Troop (6) Nob (Warbike, Cybork, 2 Big Choppas, Waaagh! Banner) - Painboy (Orderly)

This would be fast but for 500pts I think it's the best for all occasions.

For DA it's hard to make a list that small. I find 1350 is a pretty comfortable point. But obviously that takes away from the whole 500 point thing. I think ravenwing knights are one of the best bikes availiable. If you wanted to go higher I would highly suggest DA.

The nobs are troops. Warboss on bike makes them so.

At 500pts I wouldn't take that many Power Klaws personally.
I would drop a PK and add Big choppas. A combi skorcha in there might be nice for versatility aswell.
