Just polling the community out of personal interest, curious to see which ones are played more often, cheers. (If you play more then one, put whichever one youd like)

No one should be complaining about this codex. It gave regular Eldar a much needed buff by allowing us to drop Fire Dragons and D-Scythe Wraithguard wherever we want, without scatter. Oops, misread it as "would WANT to play"... but, I am looking to obtain some Thousand Sons in the relatively near future.

Emperor's children. Nothing like reading Fulgrim where the NMs actually DO use bass guitars to kill people with their noise!! The original models were not actually a joke (in relation to the later fluff).

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

My main Chaos Lord Varaxar's warband is a hodgepoge of various legions and several grand companies, but the big man himself is firmly of the Black Legion. Xaraghoul, my main sorcerer, has a chimeric geneseed because I can't figure out which one to put him in.

To reflect the Black Legion dominated nature of Varaxar's Retributors, they largely have the Black Legion paint coat with a few minor differences; metallic gold trimming, metallic black rather than chaos black, and platinum coloured pauldrons. It looks pretty snazzy, and the black legion symbol looks nice on it.

While I like to poke fun at Abaddon, the Black Legion just looks cool.

No Malice (Malal) worshipping Chaos choice, just because a little law suit technically means he doesn't exist (maybe)?

Blasphemy.......

But if it wasn't Malice, it'd Night Lords

If you saw how bad Khorne was in the Chaos codices then you wouldn't be as surprised.

Apparently they are very popular, I was never aware. Granted I do know many people play preheresy 1k sons, but that's a little different

Well, I use Thousand Sons rules, but I voted Other - Tzeentch for my Order of Dusk, an all-female sorceress cabal that uses daemons bound into suits of armour as its main combat force.

One would think that Kyras' speech would make him way more popular.

Granted that the rules may not be spectacular, but the models are just some of the best GW has to offer. That mix of colors together with the egyptian look, yeah, it attracts some love Oh, and their fluff is AWESOME!

Got a small World Eaters warband on the go. It was just chance, really, I only had their colours to hand at the time and I ended up really liking the way they looked, especially on the newer models like the Raptors.

Chaos has the unfortunate position of not having a premade sub faction that appeals to me. While I like some of the original legions, the legions I like are from the 'big 4', and thus become too limited in scope for collecting a range.

I do however have some Chaos, and I'm in the process of putting together my own warband. I favour Khorne, but do dabble in Tzeentch as well.

Iron within, iron without. I roll Iron Warriors, and I try to keep my lists fluffy with a minimum of marked units (beyond some Khorne Berserkers and a Khorne Lord, both detailed in Storm of Iron) and lots of Vindicators and Havocs.

I'll admit, I'm close to doing Iron Warriors. They seem like the best fit for me - fairly flexible with what you can bring, just keep daemons out and don't make marked units the focus.
