I am thinking of buying a few ibooks 40K codexes. I clicked on the Necrons, and clicked on "sample". It says sample sent. So my question is, how do I use it? Right now, I am on my Mac Book Pro. Can I use it on the mac or do I have to use the I Pad? If so, how or what am I suppose to do?

Also, once I do figure out how to use it, is there other stuff, I should be looking at to get that is 40K related for the Mac/I Pad?

*edit* oops, ment I pad.

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

You HAVE to use an ipad.

Not an ipod. Not an iphone. Not a mac. JUST the ipad.

Sucks, but that's the way they chose to do it.

They recently released an announcement where Black Library will be releasing all the books in epub format, which means you can use it on anything that is Android or Windows. I'm assuming also for non-iPad apple things, but who knows with their esoteric DRM stuffs?

I believe these WON'T be retro-active though (so if you buy an ipad only version, it's stuck as an ipad only version. It won't magically become an epub.)
Apparently, they've learned that B&K and Amazon outsell GW when it comes to their (GW's) own stuff and they'd be complete and utter idiots to continue to go ibook only in the face of it.

Wouldn't surprise me, though.
