I tried to make a competitive list without resorting to the usual Nob Bikers or "Lootas and Shootas" lists. At this tournament, we take two seperate lists. Each player looks at the two lists of the other player and then secretly notes which list he will be using. This list won't be very good against excessive fliers and may have trouble with armour 14, depending on if I can get into
CC with it. But with these rules my list should not have to face excessive fliers ~ my second list will be brimming with Lootas and stuff for that.
Even so, I'm considering finding 85 points for a Lascannon Aegis, to give
AT shooty and better anti-air against those terrible
AV 12 aircraft. So a variation of this list would be to drop one Slugga Klaw trukk [-152 points] and a Burna Mek on the Shoota boy trukk and Aegis + Lascannon, plus either;
~6 extra crew for the kannons, and another Grot Bomm.

The purpose of most of the units on my list should be straight forward. Trukks boys zoom into melee and throw out a bucket of klaw attacks every turn. Kannons nail
GEQ,
MEQ, light medium or semi-heavy vehicles. Grot Bomms waste marines on foot, and are a hard counter to stuff like
IG heavy artillery. The deff kopta(s) will sneak up the side of the board and threaten the enermy with rokkits and power klaws to their rear armour. Really though their main job is to take linebreaker ~ they'll dash in for any really sweet chances they see but for the most part they are all bark and no bite. Taking a second deffkopta changes that, they'd be more killy but would need to kill something to make up the extra points cost.
