Summary: Giving the Greatunclean one the eteranl blade from Hellforged artifacts and who ever gets Poor roll on there exalt would take a portal. the combos of the nurgle Psy Powers is funny..try get the Neg toughness on the table and make units take toughness test..or enhance my Flying MCs with + Str TGh int and ws attacks etc etc...the flying nurgles get 2+ cover when within 8' of enemys and psy power templates and blasts everywhere! haha..made it for Fun and been working really well for me, what do you guys think?

Personnaly I'd just kill your troops and tie up your princes with what I can, yes they are hard to kill but I'd concentrate on your BT first and the khorne one then the others princes, The fact your nurgle prince cant run anyone down is huge.

That many exalted is a waste, you need greater rewards on your princes to increase their suriviability.

GUO can be ignored for most of the game unless you deepstrike, slow as hell

HaHa im aware of its weakness, but i do play this for fun with friends it is a fun list to play and yes a deepstrick the unclean everygame. You are right about the Exalt gifts and i should swap for greater thanks for the advice.

i was useing the exalt to get higher chance at rift bringer for more troops along with the portal. had a few games where i spawned 30+ odd models!

I run a simular list but rely on the greater rewards and psyhic powers for my princes, I did take on a list like yours at a toruny on the weekend I had three princes and fatweaver he had keeper of secrets lord of change 3 princes of slaanesh and a allied CSM prince with mace, I tabled him turn 5.

IMO Tzeentch is the way to go, it helps that you re roll 1's for 3 plus saves against small arms fire one of the best ways to kill a prince.

Cool. yeh i tabled my friend the other night on turn five also, Dice gods love me some times. so you think keep the khorne units and swap out some of the nurgle for a more... manageable list? what powers do you normally roll for with the Masters of change?

My list is usually this

Lord of change ML3 2 greater 1 lesser reward, two rolls on divination and one on tzeentch, greater rewards take any really, lesser reward usually staff of change (instant str8).

2 heralds of tzeentch, ML3 each locus of conjuration and exalted reward, 2 rolls on divination each and flickering fire for the third power. Divination looking for perfect timing, forewarning misfortune and of course prescience. Exalted reward is one grimoire and other Portalglpyh.


Or for tourny games I run fateweaver, the re roll per turn is very good, always save it for the grimoire in my turn and use it on something else if grim passes ok in opponents turn I save it for grounding tests.

Daemon prince of tzeentch x3, wings armour ml2 2greater rewards 1 lesser. Both rolls on bio for each, looking for enfeeble, iron arm, warp speed and endurance, greater rewards looking for FNP, +1wound it will not die re roll invuls and hellfire if facing flyers. If you get armourbane fleshbane or 3 plus armour swap out for greater etherblade. Lesser reward is nearly always staff of change.

Thats 1850.

The other good combo is Slaanesh instead of Tzeentch, you pay 15pts tax on the princes for mark of tzeentch (10pts Slaanesh, 25pts Tzeentch) but the re roll half failed saves is that good.

Relised I didnt explain the horrors much, 20 of them is 4d6 of shots, plus the heralds in, I usually cast 2 to 3 powers on them prescience, buff or debuff (i.e perfect timing or misfortune) and forewarning if i have it, so thats around 9 d6 of str 6 shots re rolling to hit, and opponent having either no cover save (ap4 s death to GEQ) or misfortune against MEQ.

If I do get forewarning I will usually deploy the horrors in the middle of the board, cast forwarning on them and then the grimoire, having fateweaver helps with this a LOT, thats a 2plus save re rolling 1's.
