Well, since no one has commented on my last two army ideas.... I'm going to try something a bit radical (for a
SoB player anyways). It seems like all the
SoB players pretty much stick to one kind of build. No one uses the Celestians in any of them. Yeah they're a tad over priced, but after I read their Act of Faith, I think they could have serious potential for a devastating close combat squad with a some help of coarse. The
CCS is also a CQC squad. It destroyed a squad of Vanguard with ease in my last match, why fix it if it ain't broke? Here's my step away from the "usual" and i'd like some opinions on it.

The general strategy is "surprise by good CQC!!". I put the Confessor in the Celest Sqd because of his
WS and Evicerator. That squad's Act of Faith gain's +1 to Strength during the Assault Phase. If all goes well (
AoF passes and charge is a success... and the Confessor doesn't die before he attacks) the Confessor alone with have 4 attacks at a strength 8 on the charge.
WS 5?? Yeah buddy!!

And with Righteous Rage re-roll failed to hit. I wish I could have given the Superior a Evic too.... dammit.
Uriah does wonderful things for the
CCS. Anything that gives Straken +1 Attack, Feel No Pain and re-roll failed to hit is well worth the points.
