Hey Guys i whas thinking About necron army whit 3 monolith to get my troops go from 1 spot to other.

1 deployed first turn and 2 other deepstriking. Would this work?

Tactic would be

1 is to put close to my cc units. And deep strike other 2 close to enemey on each Side and step true the portal whit the cc and attack.

Can I charge when i used the portal thing?

on the forum. Obviously

No, you cannot charge.

You can deepstrike next to an enemy vehicle, port in a bunch of warriors and gauss the hell out of it.

Why does everyone keep asking if you can charge...it's clear that you can't.

Deep striking two monoliths sounds too risky to me, but it's a cool idea so I think you should try it regardless.

I've been playing around with this idea for awhile.

What I have found works in a Mono list:

Pretty much any unit you would put in a Night Scythe (5xWarrior for scoring, Stormtek and D&D combos for anti tank/anti infantry)

Tomb Spyders and Scarabs (primarily to protect the Mono against DS/fast melta and the like, but also to repair and make it an even bigger head ache to bring down).

C'Tan, has a variety of upgrades that sync with the Mono, can hide behind the Mono for that 0+ cover save, and can get up the field considerably faster popping out of a DSed Mono.

I've had the best luck with 2 Monos. I've found it hard to get the best synergism to support them when taking 3, particularly Spyders. Good luck. Its a pretty fun list, and when you get it down, it really exerts its will on your opponent.
