Hey guys, I came up with a new list to try out and I want to know what you guys think.

HQ:
CCS - 155
- 4 Grenade Launchers
- Astropath
- Chimera

Troops:
Veterans - 155
- 3 Meltaguns

Veterans - 155
- 3 Meltaguns

Veterans - 155
- 3 Meltaguns

PCS - 100
- 3 Grenade Launchers
- Chimera

IS - 110
- Grenade Launcher
- Chimera

IS - 110
- Grenade Launcher
- Chimera

Fast Attack:
Hellhound - 130

Vendetta - 130

Vendetta - 130

Heavy Support:
Basilisk - 125

Medusa - 135

Manticore - 160

Total: 1750 Points

Plan is to have all chimeras and hellhound advance, while heavy support goes to work. CCS and PCS drop blasts on people from their chimeras. Astropath basically guarantees that vendettas come in turn 2. Infantry squads can sit on backfield objectives and fire at anything, or advance with vets. Vets do their drive byes on whatever is near them.

What do you guys think?

I would change the GL in the CCS to Plasmaguns.
Also platoons in chimeras are not so great in mech lists....especially with those GL. Youre paying so many points for one special weapon that wont even do much. Swap them out for vets with meltas or plasmas. Everything else looks ok.

Ok what if I get rid of the infantry platoon, and add in 2 more melta vet squads in chimeras? Then I would have enough points to replace the grenade launchers in the CCS with 3 meltaguns. Would that be better?

After those changes I would say the list is a solid build
