I have two lists I've made after having fun with the Ravenwing last weekend. The question I have is what psychic power powers should I roll on? I heard Telepathy were a good fit and I wasn't very impressed with Pyromancy.

Librarian and Corvex join the RCS with the Apothecary and run around the board killing stuff. The squad will have a 4++ and FnP. The two Attack Bike squads outflank and kill armor. The 3 RAS roll with the SoD and use Salvo.

Pretty much the same thing here except Librarian and Corvex join the RCS with the Apothecary and Champion. The other librarian joins the RCS with just the Champ. I wanna try the Champs out and I had no where else to put the 10 points.

Sammael only makes ravenwing attack squads troops in a single primary detachment. If you go double force org you need some more troops.

Didn't realize that, guess I'll have to ditch a Librarian and COmmand Squad for Black Knights and some more bikes. Maybe a Darkshroud (that stealth skimmer).

Consider a bike techmarine with power field generator which does not count against the headquarters. You could also add a ravenwing banner to the second command squad and I think that the bike techmarine may give you a third Bike command squad although I would have to check the rules again. The wording on who gives you a command squad varies with the type of command squad and is weird.

Honestly, I only wanted to run a double FoC so I could have Sammael and 2 Librarians. Converting the third RCS to a BK squad is no big deal as it had no banner and no apothecary.

If you're running 2 command squads there's really no reason not to be running a RW banner...

We've had this discussion before and I used it twice. Both times it wasn't useful at all. Since the unit without the SoD runs with Sammael who is I5 I really don't need it. I'd have to drop a biker to fit it into the list and I don't have enough bikes as it is.

New 2000 point list. I want to try out the Nephilim. I think its not nearly as good as the other flyers but I own the model and I need some AA. Still unsure of what table(s) to roll on for phychic powers and wether to take a TL Lascannon or the Avenger Mega Bolter on the Nephilim. Sure the Lascannon is better at punching though AV, but fliers have low AV values and 5 Str 6 shots gives me more chances to glance a vehicle to death. And probably better at dealing with MCs and FMCs.
