Okay, so today, I just started my CSM army with a box of cultists. The only problem is...



I see no way of assembling them in even half of these ways and I can't seem to find any sort of upgrade kit or cultist champion on the GW store.

So my question to you is, how the feth am I meant to get those combinations if there's no option in the kit and no option to buy them. Are the contents of each cultist box randomised or something?

You get a mix of CCW and Autogun Cultists in the box, you only get all of the ones in the image above if you buy Dark Vengeance. Half the Cultists are duplicates, just painted differently. As for the Champion, you can use anything you like to represent him. Personally I use one of the FW DKoK Commissars as I can't stand the GW Champions.

All of there models are in the Dark Vengeance Starter set. The cultist box only has 5 of the normal models in.
To get the variety you can buy the cultists from the starter set on ebay. You can get them cheaper there too.

those are from the Dark Vengeance box. You can easily ebay a pack of them.

I was worried they were some kind of fancy conversion or OOP kit.

I used fantasy beastmen with laspistols glued on for my cultists
