Salt etc.
Steam might allow borrowed games in the future. Looks like everything is kicking Microsoft in the butt right now. Steambox, now. Please.

As quite rightly pointed out in your source, the XBox One will actually allow for similar game "sharing"... which is a different thing from second-hand, used games. Microsoft are just not promoting that feature properly (which, given all the hubbub lately, is another major misstep on their part...).

The Xbone sharing is kind of stupid though, you can allow 10 people to share your games and play them at any time. Sounds great right? Well not really, because only one copy of the shared game can be played at one time, so your mates will not be able to play the same shared game together.
Thats what I read a while ago, someone correct me if they changed it.

Yep, that's correct. The thing to remember, however, is how Steam handles prices...and how M$ does it.
This might backfire a lot though...you could just steam-trade a game with a friend of yours and he cracks the game so that both of you have the game now.

Of course it works that way. What else did you expect? Buy one, get nine free?

Its actually very reasonable, and you can actually play at the same time, just one person has to start the game, disconnect internet, and can play for an hour before the next person can connect

Not only that, but it looks like the Steam one will have the same "one at a time only please" setup, judging by the messages seen in the beta release.
Granted, the pricing still makes Steam the much more attractive option.
