was wondering if any type of spray paint is Bad trying to do the Salt weathering technique? I was thinking any Enamels would not be good as would encase salt so couldn't be washed off..... Are only GW paints good to use? And anyone owning the GW air brush, can you recommend it? Thanks for the Advice.

Any water based acrylic should work if your air brushing it. It's been a while and a day since I've salt weathered anything though.

You mentioned the GW spray brush so I assume you're using it. GW paints should work just fine but so will most acrylic model paints.

I've never tried it with rattle can spray paint but if that's what you're asking about most of those are not water based and wouldn't work well.
