Hello all,

I posted before that i had recently bought some raptors, and i've finished the airbrushing i wanted to do on them. the colour sheme is kinda flame like starting deep red at the bottom through orange to yellow then white. However i hadnt put any thought into how i was going to highlight and shade these models.

Does anyone have any useful tips?

P.S I would love to share pictured of these guys, unfortunately My camera is an old digital one and cant focus on the models, and my phone camera just isnt up to mustre.

Sounds strange but green wash is great for shading red (it does not look green at all, just creates great achromatic shadows). For the highlights, mix your lightest colour with bleached bone (or whatever they call it now). It is warmer than a white blend, retaining the flame effect you are aiming at.
