So I can across this old bear hunting Armour online and I thought it would be cool for a Chaos Renegade unit or maybe even ork 'ard boys.
Can Any one help me come up with stats. special rules for spiky Armour in close quarters combat?
like maybe a toughness bonus.

Special Rules for wearing that silliness?
SUPERMICROSPIKE ARMOR (free):
If a model with SupermicrospikeArmor rolls a 1 to hit, they hit themselves with an automatic S1 AP- hit.

Use combat familiars from the Chaos codex!
It's meant to mean "extra attacks from something other than the model you give this wargear to", but that kinda makes sense for this kind of spiky armour.
Fluff-wise, the 3rd edition Chaos codex states that spiky bits are sometimes used to worship minor Chaos powers, such as Mo'rcck, Phraz-Etar and An'sl.
Alternatively, they could just be Noise Marines, because they just look weird like that.

I'm saying a warrior covered in spiked Armour is in close combat with an enemy in light Armour they should get a toughness bonus or cause collateral damaged when charged something because of the spikes
i would make a miniature with bigger spikes

Maybe something similar to demon weapons, where if the attacker fails miserably and stumbles on the attack they manage to grind their face on the pointy bits?
If a model with Spikey Bits is hit in close combat, for each roll of a '1' to wound the attacker immediately suffers a single S1 AP- hit.

CSM/Orks spikey armour; for every unit that successfully hits a wearer of CSM/Orks spikey armour, that unit receives an automatic S2 ap- hit in return. DE poisoned spikey armour; for every unit that successfully hits a wearer of DE poisoned spikey armour, that unit receives an automatic poisoned (4+) ap- hit in return. SM hellfire spikey armour; for every unit that successfully hits a wearer of SM hellfire spikey armour, that unit receives an automatic poisoned (2+) ap- hit in return. Psyker force spikey armour; for every unit that successfully hits a wearer of Psyker force spikey armour, that unit receives an automatic S2 ap- ID hit in return (warp charge complementary). (Note that although it may be confusing at first for how spikes could hurt someone who strikes with a sword or halberd, in the case of DE and SM the spikes extend out on contact or for a psyker they are manifestations of the psykers will. Orks just stick long branches on themselves and see what happens.) Okay that got a bit silly after the CSM/Orks, which was at least partly serious. I would probably make it a S1 hit though if it was to work in that way. Alternatively have it grant an iniative modifier. All units engaged with a unit wearing spikes have -1 to their initiative as they consider how to strike without getting a splinter or are just wondering what on earth is going on.
