Hello! I am planning to go to an upcoming local event and am planning to run my tau I have been working on.

I wrote this list and I am looking for some constructive criticizm.

There are modified rules for this event and here they are.

1-2 HQ
2-6 Troops
2 elites
2 fast attack
2 heavies
1 flyer per person
only fortification is A line
no allies



Ok so here is my list:

Commander: Iridium armor, 2 missle pods, Drone Controller, Target Lock 148
14 kroot+ sniper rounds + 1 hound 103
14 kroot+ sniper rounds + 1 hound 103
12 fire warriors + marker light with target lock 133
12 fire warriors + marker light with target lock 133
Drones (4) marker lights 56
Path Finders (5)
A line with las cannon 85
Riptide IA EWO Stim missiles 225
Riptide HBC EWO Velocity Tracker fusion 205

I am expecting eldar, guard, and another 2 riptide list for sure. Also a few necrons and space wolves.

Are there any glaring issues? I wanted to be sure to deal with the one flyer people will have and also other armor. I feel like I am really relying on the rip tides. Do you think that this list is too slow to reach opposing objectives?

I plan for the drones to fly with the commander who will most likely man the icaerus unless he needs to move. I like double missiles on him at bs5. Helps alot vs light-med armor.
