As long as the bases are clearly 30mm, 40mm, 50mm your all good. put what ever you want on them. I would suggest not having anything overhanging though.

Mine overhang but just by a hair if at all. I wouldnt make a tiny base look like a large because of the huge rock you put on it though.

Overhanging bases sometimes cause b2b issues though, and thats the problem. If the model in question has Reach it isnt as big a deal, but otherwise it sucks.

Just be ready for TFG to complain if you do it though.

TFG will complain about anything/everything if he thinks it will give him an advantage. And that applies to all games using any system.

even at masters you're allowed to turn a model around to get it where you want it if the base or model interferes, in this case, as long as you can see the edge of your base, TFG is an idiot.

Seeing as how many models overhang their bases enough to interfere with gameplay, a little basing overhang should be no big deal.

The infamous titan butt-charge is but one example.

Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.

Skorne Titans have a horrible time even being placed in melee range because of their tusks. A number of people at my store use cork to prop up their titans on the base

Bah, "One of everything" at Lock-n-Load plus the Prime Axiom was about 64 points. (It might actually be 70 points, I forget if it ended up with only one of each light vector...) 70 points isn't anywhere close to the deep end.

62pts I think if you don't get any repeats and not counting warcasters. If you double-up on things you get to....about 70-something.

The entire force when it's out isn't gonna be many points i think.

And stuff.
