I have an idea rumbling in the back of my mind for a Harlequin army using allied Eldar and Dark Eldar with Eldar being the Primary force, I was wondering which troop option for Eldar works best in a Harlequin army both for Fluff reasons and general gameplay, other things I would plan on playing would be a Wraith fighter/Crimson hunter, a Farseer, Mass amounts of harlequins from both Codex's, 1 unit of War walkers (maybe more later on) an Archon as a stand in for a solitaire and a Razor wing flyer. This list is taken to be a fun list and not designed to be overly competitive.

any help is greatly appreciated

If you use an autarch with the mantle of the laughing god then that would make a better solitare.
There was a codex harlequin and if you google it there are several links to pdf's and to some homebrew ones that could give you ideas.
Harlequins also had jetbikes, so guardian jetbikes could be used as troops also.
They also had mimes that were infiltrating units so striking scorpions or mandrakes could be used for that.
They also had venoms, so vipers or venoms (surprisingly!) could be used.
I hope they do a harlequin supplement as I'd also love to be able to field a whole army of them.

Honestly I think Dark eldar make better harlequins for troops because wyches have exactly the statline you'd expect of a mime. I mean guardians and dire avengers just don't fit as well and a don't think all your troops being jetbikers works either. You can still have Eldar as main army, but only have 1/2 units of harlequin jetbikes along with 2 units of wyches. shazam. Troop problem solved. I also think An autarch makes a better solitaire then an archon, but you know who makes a better solitaire then them? Lilith does. Ridiculous WS? Check. Ridiculous number of attacks? Check. Ignore armour? Check. Have fun!
