So, after some unfortunate luck with gritty white primer messing some Wraithguard up, my inclination to run an Iyanden army has become stifled a bit, and with a little reluctance I turn towards the damned of Ulthwe.

Ultimately, there's no reason I can't run the same kinds of lists I was planning, just a different color and sprinkle in a few more Psykers for flavor. Anyways, even though this seems a little low on models, I think it could be fun, and I'm not heading to any tourneys so, without further a-do!

Seems like I've got some quality and quantity firepower, along with T6 Wraithguard to potentiall blunt any assault units. Lots of psychic fun too, I know it might seem redundant to run those two HQ's but the Rune powers are pretty sweet, and the second not only makes the WG scoring but can mark a unit to make them more efficient with the Wraithcannons.

Anyways, any feedback?

Looks like a pretty good start.

If the warlock joins the farseer, you now have a 2 man squad that is dead easy to kill. 4 T3 wounds with a 4++ is a speedbump for even slugga and choppa boys...in the shooting phase. I would ditch the second lock until you got a second squad of guardians to have him join. Instead, put the farseer with the wraithguard. Now your warlord and psychic power machine is safe and sound behind the wraithbone wall.

Guardians are really good, and starcannons are good too, however a scatter laser is usually better. If your meta is TEQ left and right, then a starcannon is good otherwise the laser is the best pick.

The swooping hawks should be six strong to get the large blast, and probably take an exarch with a sunrifle. That ability to blind and have Ap3(even at S3) really boosts the power of the hawks.

The prism does not need a shuricannon, as it should be out of range to use it most of the time. if you are that close, you should be backing up or you are dead anyways.

Singing spears should go on every psyker you can put one on if you have points.

Question: when you say add the Farseer to the Wraithguard, did you mean additional to the Spiritseer? I figured that Ulthwe should have lots of psyker shenanigans, so the two HQ's would be fun, also, it makes the WG Troops which in small points can hold the line well.

If I drop the Shuricannon from the Prism and the second Warlock, that should let me bolster and upgrade the squad of Hawks.....

Back to the original list-
If you used the Iyanden Supplement i would say drop the warlocks and throw in a second spiritseer...
Then with the spiritseer you can use voice of twilight to give the wraithguard battle focus...
But the new list looks good-
The hawks can drop the big grenade pack which is better...
I think it is pretty sound to be honest- much better than a trial list i wrote involving 2 hemlocks xD

Lol thanks! I've been coming back to the Hemlock, trying to decide if there's something I'm missing. I don't know if its USELESS like everyone is saying, I just think the Crimson Hunter is shinier in regards to the straightforward way that it works. It seems like the Hemlock needs the usual Eldar perfect timing/touch to utilize it.

What are your thoughts on the Hemlock?

At 750, I'd probably only take the 1 HQ choice. 2 is a big points suck. I'd drop the Spiritseer, which does mean the Wraithguard become Elites again, so use those points to get some Jetbikes on the table as a second Troops choice.

I love Swooping Hawks, so they can stay.

I'd be tempted to drop the Shuricannon from the Prism as well, but then I use mine at immense range (I try to stay on the flanks at long range to avoid retribution) so YMMV.

I cannot see any way in whch the Hemlock is useful, but then when I open fire on a unit, I tend to like to see them wiped off the planet, so there is no option for a Morale Check to be failed.

Well, I'd pick two troop units (DA or GD) in Serpents. These tanks are hard to beat especially in low point games since the enemy cannot bring enough fire power to bear. Then I'd add some HS.

I was thinking of adding more (black) Guardians since I'm going with an Ulthwe theme, and maybe a Wraithknight at some point. I know Jetbikes are awesome, but I (along with all of you no doubt) am waiting for new models, I can't justify $40 for repackaged models from '94. Otherwise I was thinking a Crimson Hunter might be useful sometime. Anyways, I'm open to other suggestions, Id like to keep the Hawks and Prism though for sure.

what do you usually face? If your not going to any tourneys you can try and base you list around that. But I would advise going and getting serpents. I have 5 and love them. Amazing.

Serpents + guardians should be the core of every eldar army...seriously its that good. Then sprinkle in Warp Spiders and some Anti Av 14...you win.
