Hey all! Been lurking the forums for the last little while and finally decided to join. Pretty new to Warhammer, just got into it about 2 months ago. I've got 1500pts of Tyranids and just bought my first box of Ogres the other day. I'm really into the painting and modelling aspect of the game more so, I think, than actually playing. Don't get me wrong, I love playing the game, with out a doubt! But I always find myself painting and testing myself to make things look more realistic or create my own terrain. I'm starting a table of my own and working on building my first diorama which I will be able to remove the models at will in order to play with them. I made a blog so that I got document my dabbles into the hobby and perhaps inspire or help some other new guy/gal with whatever.

Any links, tips, or suggestions for anything is always appreciated. Especially for Nids VS Tau... I can never seem to win against them Bastards always picking me off at a distance

Welcome to Dakka, MrBattery. Don't worry about the Nids too much, they will get an update soon that should even things out a little bit. There is some pretty solid Tyranid list writing tips in the Army List forum, if you haven't checked it out already. I look forward to seeing some of your stuff!

I was thinking of the same thing (able to remove models from things to make them playable), although my idea is getting a regular based unit into a larger one, like having my Chaos lord stand next to his Juggernaut "mount", and being able to take him off and field him alone. Tell me how you get around and do it!

I sure will owmyquach! If you follow my blog, listed in my profile here, you will be able to see a bunch of stuff. I'm trying to keep everything in one place since there are a couple websites that I visit often and people wanting to see my stuff that its difficult to post everywhere without forgetting something so its a little easier to keep it all in one place. As for the Nid list, I've been looking around and I've found from batreps and such that going all/mostly monsterous creatures is the best way against anything really

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka
