What if certain primarchs had landed on different planets ?

( Yes i know that the planets that the primarchs landed on where chaos pre ordained )

Case 1 Lorgar lands on Prospero Magnus lands on Colchis How would they develop ?

Lorgar is not the psychic powerhouse that magnus is Magnus is not as gullible as Lorgar was .

Does earlier contact with the warp corrupt Lorgar sooner ? How does magnus develop on Colchis being the only legit psyker on the planet when the emperors find magnus how does Magnus attempt to ''heal his sons ?

Case 2

Corax lands on Nostromo Kurze lands on deliverance.

Can Curze free deliverance not being the tactician that Corax is? Can Corax completly clean up Nostromo ?

Lorgar would probably just have his psychic ability nurtured by the Prosperans. Magnus would have seen through Kor Phaeron's duplicity and refined the religious aspects of the Colchisians until they were closer to Magnus' own- the Great Ocean, etc.

Corax would have fixed up Nostramo no problem. Curze, on the other hand, would just drag Deliverance down into the gutter. He'd try to do everything himself, and get a bullet through the skull for his trouble.

Interesting idea though...

I agree with 4oursword on Lorgar and Magnus, and even Corax. I'd like to expand on what I imagine would happen with Corax though. I think that he'd more than likely approach the itizens he found, being adopted by a crime family and starting off as an enforcer, until he finds out he's part of a criminal underworld and the entire planet is corrupt. Cue gathering of people who agree with him and the following mass slaughter.
Curze I imagine would have turned out differently, perhaps freeing Deliverance, but through more brutal means. He wouldn't have been alone though.

Fair points but Lorgar still has an innate desire to believe in something greater then himself.

Prospero Lorgar surfing the warp would most certainly come across the Chaos gods leading to him possibly being corrupted before the emperor find him.

Kor Phaeron probably gets killed trying to kill Magnus when he realizes that he cant control him.

I am not so sure that Curze could not free deliverance he is after all a primarch not withstanding his mental issues

I think Corax' situation would depend on who found him. Remember, Corax was sent into the labour camps and treated poorly by the upper class, but cared for by the labourers. This sets up his personality for the future.

On Nastramo, if he was found by those who were victims of crime, he may have turned out the same way as on deliverance. If he was found by the upper class, he may have turned out differently, never experiencing what it's like to be a victim.

I remember somewhere that Corax feared how similar he was to Kurze, possibly turning out like him. I don't remember where though.

Here's an interesting one: Angron and Leman Russ?

Angron and Russ trading places is boring in my eyes we already know that that sans Angron being lobotomised by the butchers nails they are interchangeable.

Case Three Angron and Guilliman.

Guilliman lands on Nuceria and is adopted by the Thal,kr family becoming a noble of Nuceria

Angron land on Maccagre among the wild men of Maccagre how do they progress what would be the character of their legions when the emepror finds them ?

How would their very different upbringing in this setting change their character ?

Ooo sweet possibilities

ADB: I showed the Wolves revealing the key weakness at the heart of the World Eaters; showing Angron that his Legion was broken and worthless compared to the others; that he was the one primarch who couldn't trust his own warriors, and that they didn't care if he lived or died; showing that loyalty to brothers and sons is the heart of success for the Legiones Astartes, to the point even Lorgar makes a big deal out of saying the World Eaters and their primarch were massively outclassed by Russ, and Angron was too stupid to see the lesson Russ had sacrificed time, sweat, and blood, to teach. We're talking about a battle the Wolves won, by isolating the enemy general through pack tactics, and threatening to kill him, without a hope of defending himself. It was a balance, 50/50 - Angron overpowered Russ, and the Wolves were losing ground to the World Eaters; but Russ and his warriors had Angron by the balls, and barely broke a sweat. They won, no question. Lorgar even says: "The Wolves won, meathead."

Dorn won’t help you either. He’s too busy being the Emperor’s groundskeeper, hiding behind the palace walls. The Wolf is too busy cutting off heads as our father’s executioner, while the Lion holds on to his secrets, and has no special fondness for you. Who else will come? Not Ferrus, certainly. Nor Corax either. Even as we speak, I suspect he flees for Deliverance. Sanguinius?’ Curze laughed cruelly. ‘The angel is more cursed than I. The Khan? He does not wish to be found. So who is left? No one, Vulkan. None of them will come. You are simply not that important. You are alone.’ Konrad Curze to Vulkan
