I want to start a black templars army, however my issue would be making them stand out as I regularly enter painting competitions and want to have an army that looks good... Any thoughts ?
Thanks in advance

Shade with blue, highlight with yellow. It's a very subtle difference, but en masse it's extremely effective.

I would like to see examples of this, actually. Do you have any references?

Pic fixed. As I said, it's very subtle, but what youre looking at is a little yellow blended in for area highlights on the black (go you have a warm dark grey) and blue ink mixed into the black for shade (making a very ark blue-black). increasing the strengths of the blue and yellow makes the surface look oily. Edge highlights with standard greys (I think codec and fortress here). Extremes with a touch of VMC ivory.
