Hi all - just a quick one.

A friend of mine has drawn my attention to an FAQ which states when you pick your powers, they either have to be all from the rulebook, or all from the ones in your codex, and that you cant mix and match.

I am playing Eldar and keep seeing people using tactics where they are taking some powers from the runes of fate, and 1 from Divination. Can someone clarify for me if this is allowed as if I am reading the FAQ correctly, if you take any from the Runes of Fate you have to take all 3 from it?

The restriction only applies to codices where you get to pick/purchase powers (pre-6th edition codices). For 6th edition, you can mix and match (in fact, CSMs with a mark has to mix and match).
