What terrain should I base my Cadians in?

There is a lot of variation on Cadia and the planets Cadians are sent to, so it all depends on personal preference. If you are painting your cadians in lighter or dirtier shades I'd say go for simple grass, jungle or swamp, since that is what I prefer, but if you take a more traditional paint job, urban rubble and terrain would probably be best. Maybe just sand on bases with extra bits and sprue pieces, drybrushed grey?

I painted mine in standard Cadian colors...the way Games-Workshop does...looking for something to compliment them and looks good.

I love desert bases, I play Tallarn so obviously I use them, but I think I would even if I played Cadian. They fight all over the universe.

Thanks for the advice...I am basing them in ruins.

Painting using the textured paint Astrogranite. Then highlight with Longbeard Grey.

I am also using a piece of a sprue for ruins...painting it black and drybrushing with codex grey.
