Can a unit look out sir for someone who is being hit by jaws of the world wolf?

Really? I play wolves but have never considered that LOS cant be used on this power. Seems a bit unfair

Is there an FAQ about this or is it just commonly accepted?

LOS! is used against wounds.

Does Jaws cause wounds? IF yet, you can LOS! (potentially)
If not, then you cannot LOS!

There is no need for a FAQ when the rules are clear. ALthough that doesnt always stop GW.

This is off topic, but everything about SW's says they eat orks...

But alas, it does not wound as a normal weapon would, and LoS only applies to wounds, so it wont work.
