Of late I've gotten bored of large scale games like 40k and I'm moving back to small skirmish games.
I've just about finished painting my Urban War strike team, so I've been looking around for something new.
My eyes settled on some Malifaux stuff in a game shop, I liked the look of the models, so I thought I'd give it a try.

I've been doing a spot of research. And I've settled on resurectionists.
I'm just getting models at the moment, I'll pick up the rules when 2.0 is released.
What would people suggest?
I'm probably going to pick up the Body Thieves crew and the Redchapel crew to start me off.
Any other suggestions?

I haven't played much 2.0 so I can't say how well they'll perform but I've heard they're still solid pieces.

Also feel free to participate in the 2.0 open beta. It's nice to get input from new players without the bias of having played 1st ed.

I've got the beta rules, and I've read them through.
looks interesting. I'm proxying a few things to see how it works.
I've got the Body Thieves incoming as well as the Redchapel Crew now and some base inserts (Victorian for the Redchapel crew, Morgue for Body Thieves.
I may pick up Nicodem and his crew (along with the graveyard base inserts) at some point.
I'm probably going to get the avatar models at some point too.
