I'm new to 40k and my Grey Knights army currently looks like this:

HQ:
Librarian with nemesis warding stave and storm bolter
Ordo Malleus inquisitor with chainsword and bolt pistol

Troops:
Strike squad x 5 [3x storm bolters and force swords, 1x storm bolter/daemon hammer, 1x psycannon]
-- Dedicated transport: Razorback, TL lascannon
Terminators x5 [3x storm bolters/force halberds, 1xforce sword/psycannon, 1x force sword/daemon hammer]

Elites:
Henchmen warband: 9x warrior acolytes [hot shot lasguns]

My thinking with the warband was to get more boots on the table; I modelled them from Cadian storm troopers with a colour scheme to match GKs.

Any thoughts on where to go next? Tempted by a dreadknight, but thinking it'd be more sensible to take my strike squad up to 10 for holding objectives, then expand the terminator squad for some close combat fun. Or if I'm upping the points should I add in some more elite models to the warband and swap out the grunts?

Thoughts welcome!

Why the librarian?
Personally I always run Coteaz,
3 rolls on divination and stick him with terminators
then the henchmen are troop choices...

just my opinion

Good point. Plus he looks awesome and should be fun to paint. Any suggestions on that warband though? Was thinking it might be worth mounting them in an Inquisitorial Chimera...

I would go with a psyker squad and then throw the termies in the Chimera. for 80pts you get a 36in s10 ap1 large blast. If you have Coteaz with prescience they can re-roll the scatter. And if your lucky and roll Perfect Timing on the random table it will ignore cover.

Just remember, if they get a Perils! (a 1/18 chance), every psyker dies.

Coteaz only gets 2 rolls on divination. Check the 6th ed GK FAQ.
