I'm considering getting into both D&D and Warmachine/Hordes, and I was just wondering if their were any warmachine/hordes models that could fit the character of a rogue/ranger, male, preferably hooded.
Also, just a question on the side about Warmachine/Hordes, I understand the two games are compatible rules-wise, but are there any official rulebooks that I need, or do I just need the rulebook for my specific faction?
Thanks!

From another guy that's only just getting into Warmachine:

As far as I can see, just getting the rulebook for your game system will do it. You can invest in an army specific book later.

But, as for finding a Warma/Hordes model that fits the description of hooded rogue.... well, if you find it, is it the faction you like? In DnD, your models can be flexible. I'm a rogue! But my mini is a Halfdragon! WOOHOO! Eh, you get the idea.

What I would suggest is to just keep the 2 separate, for simplicity sake. Do some research on each faction, see which playstyle you prefer (each army handles pretty differently), then the next step would be to pickup a battlebox (very good value!) Comes with each miniatures cards already. I might suggest Miniaturemarket.com, but not sure if it's available to your region of the world.

The total amount saved by trying to combine the 2 hobbies is minimal (~5 USD/3.82 Euro/3.25 British Pound Sterling).

For your DnD minis, go hit Reaper miniatures, and check out their "Figure Finder." Just go there and see what it has to offer, as trying to explain it doesn't really do it much justice as to how useful it can be.

Good luck!

Why is it that only those who have never fought in a battle are so eager to be in one?

All you need is the BRB, you don't need the "faction" book as all the models/units come with stat cards.

The Forces books are there as supplement for the cards and background fluff. if you don't care about the fluff get the WarRoom APP and pay $5.99 for your faction deck, you will be able to see all the units and their stats and they update to include new models as they come out.

As to using them for D&D models PP actually makes a line for their RPG and the figures are cheaper.

Thanks dude! Yeah, I already went onto reaper, as I followed their "bones" kick starter for a while, and what me and my gaming group are planning on doing for D&D is to buy all our PC's from their, and all enemies too. I really don't like the official D&D models. Yeah, I think I'll keep my Warmachine/Hordes separate from D&D

Cool, thanks for your advice. What is the PP RPG called? Thanks.

Its the Iron Kingdoms RPG

I haven't played it yet cuz I have way to much on my plate but it uses the same mechanics as WM so if you know one, jumping into the other is supposedly pretty easy.
