Here it is-

XV84 w/ velocity tracker, drone controller, missile pod
2 XV 8s with dual missiles and target lock
1 xv 8 w/ multispectrum, C&C node, vectored retrothrusters
8 drones

The basic tactic here is to operate it as a normal Mark'O rain squad, but being able to boost the missiles up to BS 4 twin linked w/ the commander. If there are aircraft, you can fire the commanders twin linked networked markerlight at it, than fire the 8 markerdrones at twin linked BS 2, hitting with 4 or 5, than have an outside source destroy it, may I suggest a hammerhead?

The key here is the XV 84 and the C&C node, with an added anti air boost with the multispectrum scanner.

Comments for you. Having used the XV-84 In recommend you take another mpod, since you've only used 3 slots on your commander, and probably take a puretide chip as well. The commander is BS5 fyi, i would trade out the vectored thrusters for a Drone controller, and drop the drone controller from the commander for an EWO, this makes it possible for him to fire all 3 weapons he has from turn to turn. You don't need BS5 marker drones with C&C node, especially if your shooting them at flyers, since it gets reduced to BS1 before marker buffs anyways.

The XV84 only gets 3 slots if I remember correctly, the XV84 is also networked IIRC. The drone controller on the commander makes the drones BS5 when fired at ground targets. Putting it on the support XV8 reduces them to BS 3. The networked markerlight on the Commander hits at BS5 w/ reroll due to the C&C node, and the drones snapfire is increased to BS 2 with reroll due to the markerlight hit and C&C node.

The XV-84 is the one with no limitations, the XV-85 (?) the one with the SMS is the one with a limitation. it can have 4 upgrades, but only 2 can be weapons. BS3 with rerolls is already really really good, I'd rather have the extra 2 missle shots at a flyer wtih your anti-air Shas'o and be able to fire the markerlights at a different target.

Ok, I will hopefully be able to experiment with both.
