Thought I'd start a thread here as I'm painting a few tanks.

Primer coat is nearly done, tracks are next then once it's glued together I can get cracking with the base coat.

Looks promising. Keep us updated!

Cheers man. Well the basecoat is on and camouflage painting starts tonight.

Very very subtle camouflage painted, not too sure if I should keep it or change it to the camouflage I used on my vanquisher.






now should I keep it as it is (the colour will be toned down by the filters and weathering) or change it to one like this

Bloody hell I forgot I even had this thread.

Well as I paint at the speed of an asthmatic snail, there isn't much progress over the past few years. Macharius is nearly finished, ish, been sat on my shelf for well over a year while I considered repainting it again for the third time, nearly ruined it when Captain Morgan told me it was a good idea to start painting but recovered it slightly when I sobered up. Still not happy with it, but need to add some highlights to the chips, tidy up some scratches and chips, add sandbags and tarps, then I think it will be ready for Ebay.

Other things have been the FW Orc command set which has seen three or four repaints on the face alone, a Hasslefree Empire lass, and some ye olde empire figures that are ready to be finished up. Well maybe next year I will remember this thread exists and actually have some stuff to update it with.
























Bad photos of the Mac but light is bad in my paint room at the min.

Hmm looks like my Mac photos have been eaten, try again.

Once again, light isn't too great, exhausts and lenses,visors etc to be finished, camnets and sandbags to be added to cover various things, really should go back and smarten up a few scratches and chips that look scruffy as hell. Hopefully the kids will let me finish it soon so it can get sent to the front line on the mighty Bay of E.

Long time no post.

Loads of filling, sanding, cutting, gluing, swearing, losing my temper, and rivets to do, but it's slowly getting there, then to decide which bits will be hidden with camnets due to shoddy workmanship by the Mechanicum.

First build in a couple of years and a LR Destroyer already en route to my location for the next build.

Feel obliged to post that this is the slowest blog ever but I like it and the tanks
