Hey guys!

I'm really new to the game. I decided to play blood angels because they look really awesome lol. (Love the sanguinary guard)
I'm mostly going to be playing for fun with my cousin. He's going to be running a Green Tide Ork army.
I was just wondering if this list was any good?

Too many overpriced units. The BA are overpriced in general, and your selections make it worse.

DC dread w/Blood Talons is not that great because of AV 12. Try Furioso with frag cannon in a drop pod instead.

This is pretty much the first time I'm playing this game so I'm not 100% sure of what I'm doing.
Like I said, I'm mostly playing for fun so I took units that I thought would be really fun to play with. I love the sanguinary guard and death company.
I'll revisit the dreadnaught like you said.

I was also thinking of removing the Storm Raven in favour of more troops.
Maybe more Tactical Squad or Assault Squad??

Please let me know if you have any other suggestions.

Here's the problem we face as BA: most units are overcosted for the way 6th edition plays. With pure BA, you will never have a "good" list unfortunately.

You can, however, minimize the "badness" of the codex by taking the most efficient choices.

ASM, Tac marines are below average troops in 6th edition, but at least they score.

Sanguinary guard look better with the changes to power weapons, but plasma is VERY common, which makes a mockery of the SG.

DC are best delivered via LR, which is a list archetype in and of itself.

I decided to remove the stormraven (-215pts) and a squad of assault marines (+100) and a baal predator (+115) in it's place.
I edited the first post to reflect the changes.
