Hey all, this thread is going to detail the construction and painting of my Emperor's Children Army

THE UPDATES MAY BE SLOW as FW is across the world from me and im a little bit skint atm BUT in saying that i want to build this army as fast as my bank account will allow so i hope you enjoy

so the first order that i got is my 5 Cataphractiis so far i have got 2 and a half painted.

Fulgrim has been ordered and i am aiming to get my Cataphracts finished by the time he gets here.

but without further ado:

The 2 guys with Dual Claws




The Etched Brass on every shoulder






Now is when i did the test model as i have never painted Purple before, i didnt want to ruin my nice Cataphractiis, so i found some spare part from the bits tray and made up this nice fellow, slapped some paint on him, and this is how he tuned out:

After i took these i applied a black wash and he turned out looking much better.






Now onto the Cataphracts:

Another update (i know finally right ? )

but this is a very special update, as you will see later, im not going to spoil anything yet

so i finished my 2nd LC cataphractii, and almost finished the last 2. here are some pics:

Yes i know his sword is bent, trying to fix that soon.



Now the Interesting part:

Today as i was walking out the door this morning at 6am to go snowboarding i found a package on the steps to my house, In my sleep deprived state i took no notice of it, other than taking it inside, but after i got back this afternnon i opened it and guess what was inside...

just saw them earlier. they are on the list of things to get, but i think i need to fill in my other troops slot first, so then i can actually play legally without proxys haha

So, finished Fulgrim's base (one dead marine is not painted yet as my mate is going to paint him as a Salamander).
And finished his cloak / cape








and yes those are dead Iron Hands this is the Drop Site Massecare afterall...

Im a little unsure as to what to get in the next order, i want another troops choice, but i also want the cool stuff like dreads, palatines, tanks etc...

Nothing as yet, im too poor to afford anymore FW at the moment :( but im probably going to get a MKIIB LR with EC doors and 10 Tactical support marines with volkite cavaliers in my next order

this is once i get some money though so dont expect too much in the following weeks... i do however have an apothecary being modelled for this army so who knows when the next update will be haha
