So the new dex has dropped! I generally feel small games can limit what we can run... for instance it's very hard to run any wraith units.

Just some lists to start the discussion on low point games with Eldar. What'll y'all run?

Anything with Warp Spiders. At that point level their ability to take on almost anything is invaluable. Id' go very similar to your fourth one I think.

If I did a 500 point list, I'd probably include 1 batch of 5 Wraithguard, but not two, then fill up on jetbikes. That would give some very difficult to kill troops at that level for both units and some great heavy weaponry from the Wraiths, some great anti-infantry weaponry from the bikes.

I suppose...

9 jetbikes with 3 cannons...

That is exactly 500 points



Or, as your other respondant said, go for Warp Spiders. I love the model AND the stats! As he said, at 500 points, they'll kick butt.

For your Serpent Spam, I think I'd go without the Exarch and Shield of Grace and one of the Shuricannons and buy myself a Farseer instead.

500 on the nose. Enemy should never be able to catch you and all the str6/7 or twinlinked rending weapons you will ever need at 500 points.

In view of the Lanchester square law, I'd opt for the Serpent spam list.
It roughly says that if you double the Serpents, the enemy will have to four-fold its anti-tank weapons.
