Space Marine Scout with Sniper Rifle
|
Hi all
A quick introduction and a little about myself before a jump back in.
36 Year Old father of 4 boys who is from the UK but currently living in Asia for work. I am getting back into Miniature Board games after many years of being away. It was Space Hulk 3rd Ed that got me back in. Saw it, wanted it, pre-ordered it then I got my oldest son to play it. I then started painting again and now I am reading Tabletop gaming News etc. It had been about 18 years away fromn the hobby and now I am worse than ever. I used to own a large White scars army and an Ork army. I even had the original black Dakka Dakka T-Shirt with the ork and the machine gun. Loved that T-Shirt. I imagine these are long gone as they were not in the box my parents gave me when they downsized.
I play Space Hulk and Dreadball and I am waiting for Myth to arrive. I had a copy of Sedition Wars aswell but my son was not interested so that has been given to a new home.
I dont have the time to get back into large scale wargames but I have an urge to try some Kill Team/Skirmish rules out on my sons to see if I can get them to make their own teams.
Will be in a few other topics asking for some creative advice and I hope to recieve some help as the hobby is now much larger and wide ranging than it ever was. This is only a good thing for me but bad for my bank balance.
Thanks for reading
