I'm looking to scratch build some light artillery as replacements for mortars in my IG army. Does anyone have a link to some detailed instructions or examples?

Well, actual mortars would be easier to build, But if you want light artillery, and want to avoid visual confusion with other heavy weapons/artillery, I'd probably go for a light howitzer with a short upwards-pointing barrel, along the lines of:

So long as you have some suitable wheels, and plasticard tubes for the barrel, something similar wouldn't be too difficult,
