well a while ago, I decided I wanted to have another stab at a small true scale force (prior I had lost interest in a TS Deathwatch squad), and after finishing the Night Lords Trilogy, which I enjoyed immensely, I decided to go with making tenth company for a couple of reasons:
One: There were bugger all of them left, so A: Squad sizes would be small, and B: Number of squads would be low...
Two: I love the antihero persona
Three: Night Lords would be cool...

So, without stopping to think (Hang on, so True Scale terminators, and TS Dread/DaemonPrince? ok......) I jumped in and started with Talos, who is, to date (about 6 months later) the only one I have finished...

But, here he is!

Let me know what you think...

Spoiler:
note, for anyone that is wondering, the torso he is holding is supposed to be the Titan Princeps who was "liberated" from the immersion tank

cheers

Beautiful. The lightning looks awesome!

I want to say the helmet is the old aspiring champion helmet with the horns shaved off.

Very nice! I'm a fan of nightlords too, so it's nice to see more of them here.

Awesome job. The paint job is amazing and the battle damage looks great. What did you do to TS them?

Normally, I'm not a huge fan of true scale.

That being said, I love the Night Lords.

This is awesome! What a great piece!

Despite my normal reservations about truescale, if you ever get them done, then we can have your Night Lords go toe-to-toe with my Tomb Sentinels.

Spoiler:

Up until this thread, mine was the only Truescale mini I had ever liked.

Awesome work!

I'd love to see someone make a true scale of one of everything for 40k.

The helmet is indeed the old Champion one without horns, and with a little GS added to make more skull-like brows.

@Shadowbrand - yeah you do, I dont know why but I really like ADBs writing style, and what he does to make the usual "mindless hate-machines" interesting is incredible...

@Jimsolo - lovely marine there, and if you sort out the flights we have a date my friend! Is that one of the true-scale kits that were (briefly) available?

Nope. It was the first place prize for the Create a Chapter Kompetition hosted by JustDave. It was built and painted by SS Miniatures. (The only links I have for SSminiatures are all defunct, or I would happily be referring people his way...) Currently he sits on the shelf in my trophy room, mostly because he's big enough to dwarf every other tabletop mini I own.

I'm really looking forward to seeing the rest of the team. Are you going to do any of the ancillary support people? (I've wanted to build a fig for Deltrian for quite some time...)

That guy with the heavy bolter is also really sweet! In my opinion, the torso and upper legs on truescale models tend to look awkward, but the heavy bolter conceals that part of the model really well. Your sculpts do a good job of trying to minimize that awkwardness though. Good work!
