Not so long ago I managed to get my hands on a metal thunderfire cannon and have now begun to take on the task of assembling it and got to wondering what size base would fit it best. Since this is going to be my only thunderfire I want it to look nice, be something of a centerpiece model and not have to retouch the models tracks after every game. Anyone know what would work best? I also want to make it with an urban warfare theme so if anyone can find pictures for inspiration that would be awesome.

It doesn't completely fit on a 60mm so you may want to for a 120x95mm (I think that is the measurement but it is the large oval base).

You could always try and make a custom base or go to hobby lobby or some craft store and get a piece of wood that is a reasonable size.

I suppose, I guess I need to look around and try getting to Michaels or something.

I used some 80mm mdf rounds for my three.
Cut out of an offcut sheet with a holesaw.
