So, I'm attempting it again, an all kroot army with the current Tau codex. What I'm thinking of revolves around making suits of armor almost like an ork meganob, but with kroot inside, to proxy for battlesuits, or I could just get some battlesuit models and put kroot heads in them. Then of course I'll use regular kroot for most of the troops choices, and have a few kroot converted with armor and longer rifles as fire warriors.

I was also thinking, some sort of pterodactyl thing with cannons and armor to use as a pirahna or devilfish. Drones could be floating bugs with shields and guns.

What do you guys think? How should I represent battlesuits and tanks in an all kroot army? I really don't like the tau that much, which is why I'm drifting away from the idea of their technology, so how should I do it?

Does anyone have any good examples or pictures?

It would really help, and if this all goes well I will make a cool P&M blog

One of the new apoc formations is a Kroot thing? Might be a good start?

I haven't seen it yet. I was thinking maybe more in the way of conversions. The last kroot apoc formation was basically just a reprint of the codex entry

Nae worries sgt. They almost made me rip some dark angels and orks out of the box and get to work.
