So ive been reading alot online about competitive lists and im trying to put together with things that seem to work well for me. Any ideas would be helpful

Huron
35 cultists
3x5 NM, blastmaster, icon of excess
2 Hell-turkeys
2x1 obliterators

Bloodthirster, Greater & exalted reward
10 bloodletters
6 screamers
Soul Grinder MoS

Typical players are eldar and DA. The idea is that huron infiltrates with the cultists and provides some fodder while the NM select targets and take them out. Hell-turkeys are obvious with their jobs, Daemons meant to tear apart their armor and provide support, obliterators do their thing as well.

I like the feeling of the list straight away. Its got a strong undivided list with elements of all gods in the cd detachment and Huron as a WL.

First problem is that you only have 2 scoring units. You need a MoS lord to make the NMs scoring in which case you wouldn have 5 scoring units. much better.

think Icon of E is to expensive for a 5 man squad. Id cut them and turn them into a cheap MoS lord. Id throw him in one of the NM squads and try to find points for an adl with a quad gun for AA.

Ive always found oblits with MoN + votlw are great. If i was taking units of 1 id drop the votlw but te t5 is huge imo.

I havent seen anyone trying to use bloodletters in competitive play. i dont c them making their points back as 10 t3 5++ wounds arent hard to do BUT they can do work against a meq squad

The screamers are cool. I think they can still be great but there are probably better options in the codexes. Id lean towards some nurgle bikers or seekers or something

Soul grinder is cool MoS or MoN as you like.

BT- You only have this one big scary threat. At 2k people will have the firepower/answers to him if you hang him out to dry so be very careful with him.

Last thought- i think these lists generally work better with cd as the primary and csm as the allied. Mostly because of the role of heralds for cd. BUT then you loose your huron wl infiltrate which is sad and your 2 heldrake list becomes 1- which does completely change your list.

Oh my gosh i totally forgot about the sorcerer. Thanks for that! I dropped the icons and added a sorcerer and made the oblitz have MoN and VotLW. the CSM army i like. Yeah the screamers arent the best but i love their rules. And yeah it always seems that FMC's always take alot of flak but ill make sure to use my bloodthirster wisely. Drop the screamers. Put phlem bombardment on soulgrinder. Drop IoE as Ithani said.

Do you really need exalted and greater reward on bt?

i forgot to post it but the soul grinder has that and a warpsword. Why do you say drop the screamers?And i bring the rewards so i can get either soul eater or the grimoire. And the greater rewards gives him something to buff him up a bit
