Having enjoyed the solo elements of 5150: Fighter Command and the background of WH40K, I decided to smash the two together.

So I took the ships of WH40K and put them into 5150:FC mechanics and played a scouting mission as Imperial forces attempt to reclaim a mining outpost from an Ork invasion. 5150:FC let me play the game solo, and 40K elements let me enjoy a setting i love.

The first 5 turns can be seen here: http://www.thewargamingaddict.com/wh40k-5150-fighter-command-aar-1-ariostos-gambit/

More turns will be going up over the weekend (as I am still playing the scenario).

There are also full stats for the ships I converted, background story and scenario rules on the blog too.

Comments are welcome

Now there is up to Turn 19 on the blog: http://www.thewargamingaddict.com/wh40k-5150-fighter-command-aar-1-ariostos-gambit-part-3/

Can the lone Imperial ship survive against the swarming Orks?

Are Captain Aramek and the Forlorn Hope doomed?

And where are the reinforcements he was promised?

You won't know if you don't read on.
