Devastating Dark Reaper

Ok, so just as a precursor to this list I want to point a few things out. I do understand that this list is quite biased and based around my meta (which is for the most part made up of death company lists and lots of nasty blood angels which can get into close combat very effectively). There is a weakness to fliers but as most of my opponents at max only field one to two storm ravens which need to drop off troops I have taken this into consideration. Also we usually play purge the alien games and so this is why the awesome eldar jetbikes are not included. This list is double force organisation.
So here it goes!
HQ:
Farseer
Farseer
Troops:
10 guardians with scatter laser
10 Guardians with scatter laser
10 Guardians with scatter laser
10 Guardians with scatter laser
10 Guardians with scatter laser
10 Guardians with brightlance
10 Guardians with brightlance
10 Guardians with brightlance
Elites
5 Fire dragons
5 Fire dragons
Fast attack
10 Warp spiders
10 Warp spiders
10 Warp spiders
10 Warp spiders
Heavy support
3 War walkers with scatter lasers
3 war walkers with scatter laser/brightlance combos
Transport
Wave serpent with scatter laser/shuriken canon
Wave serpent with scatter laser/shuriken canon
Wave serpent with scatter laser/shuriken canon
Wave serpent with scatter laser/shuriken canon
Now the basic principles I am basing this list on are:
Battle focus and bladestorm make the guardians very good now so they can draw away the expensive close combat units my opponents use.
The guardians also shoot more reliably so I don't mind giving them decent heavy weapons, plus they are more durable now that the weapons platforms have toughness values.
Brightlances are very affordable now too.
Laser lock is great on serpents and the war walkers giving them re-rolls on their other weapons.
The farseers powers are unpredictable so I will roll two dice in the eldar psychic powers (and if I dont get Fortune or Doom just use primaris) then if needs be take their third power as the divination primaris power for added re rolls.
Warp spiders are great with their battle focus and importantly for my local games hit and run as standard!
The fire dragons have increased in price but they are still decent, just not broken like they used to be.
The wave serpents have a nice new shield weapon which I can't wait to use!
So guys, hope this is food for thought, let me know what you think and any improvements/strategies are always welcome.

I'm not really sure what to comment on- because most things you are fielding i don't use-
But the farseers- maybe give them a singing spear each to deliver some range-
Maybe consider a shadow council- because i think they are incredible. with like 10 rolls on battle runes- you are bound to get some of the better powers a few times (Though when i did it i kept rolling enhance/drain.
Renewer is good for most armies, but maybe not for you other than healing the farseers. Protect is always useful, so is jink. And horrify is helpful too.
You have a hell of a lot of guardians... They are a little flimsy and they have a lower leadership... Perhaps consider an avatar somewhere to make them fearless. Because otherwise, there may be some running away.
I don't use spiders, war walkers or serpents, but i agree with the walkers loadout- though maybe some scatter/star for the added terminator termination.
And i agree with those shields xD

I don't think 40 warp spiders is worth it. If you must, why don't you use 20 and grap some dark reapers or wraith guard.

Thanks guys,
Completely see what you mean with the guardians running away - that could be a big problem!
I may drop a squad of spiders and guardians and add in an avatar then a few dark reapers! Automatically Appended Next Post: What do you think a good load out for reapers would be?

The avatar is deadly... Probably smart.

Avatars main reason for this list, not to destroy stuff, but to make fearless.
Or if you want you could combine gardian squads for 20man squads. That way you could keep gardians.
Or you could do both
Why scatter lasers and bright lances on walkers? Because it lets the bright lances hit more effectively? It would be better then to take 2 bright lances on each. Same price to. Or is their another reason?
And you might want to take an ADL with flakk cannon or Icurus cannon, with dark reapers exarch with fast shot, and night fighting.
Hope that helps
Me.

Great ideas ninja, I think I will get an avatar to start with and look into the ADL!
I like the idea of combining the guardian squads but as my opponents are close combat orientated I wanted to feed him them bit by bit while dancing around and blasting him with shuriken.
I went for the scatter lance combo purely for the laser lock really but you could have a point on just going straight bright lance!
