i no none of the faces will be painted when i start uploading more picture but im learning how to do it better! but its not the best painted but im proud of my self and i love red!!

i wont mind if you really judge it and make it out to look bad because im just wanna show you guys that i think the mars pattern in my mind should be BTW THIS IS ONLY MY SECOND ARMY !!

I don't want to be that guy but someone else will if I don't.... You might want to make some sort of booth for your pictures out of something white, maybe some A4 sheets of paper, you wouldn't need to use a flash either.

I like it man, couldn't see much of the face but hey, if we were playing a game I wouldn't need to see the face Bloody love a good old red too, my Orks have red armour!

You don't even need a booth to take good pictures. I just use a large sheet of paper and two lamps with a crappy camera. Just use the detail setting and turn off the flash.

Your paint scheme is problematic. The fatigues and the armor are the exact same color, and this is really uninteresting to look at. If you really are sold on having red armor and red fatigues, you could use two different shades of red. Alternately, wash the fatigues with a black, brown, red, or purple wash, and darken them while also providing some shading. A wash or two would be a very good idea, as the model you posted has no shading to speak of and it all looks very flat.

On second glance, the fatigues might be a slightly different shade of red, but the flash is really blowing it out. I'd still recommend a wash to give them some depth.

When you get to painting the skin, get your favorite skintone and wash it with Reikland Fleshshade. If you're feeling fancy afterwards, using a fine brush, go back and just paint the raised areas, like the nose, forehead, chin, cheekbones, and fingers. This will give the skin a lot of depth and will look pretty good for not too much effort.

Try and break up the pattern between the cloth and armor. I would go for straight red armor and patterned fatigues, but thats just my opinion. Also use some wash. The guy who first taught me how to paint years ago said "wash... this stuff is instant talent". So if you just at least basecoat your face with flesh color and slop some wash on the whole model, it will still look much better.

Just some tips, and I do think the colors are cool.

Camo looks good but overall the paint looks clumpy. Are you using wash?
