So I've always wanted a Tzeentch Warriors army, and now I have the funds to get one started.

So I need help with figuring out what builds work within certain restrictions. The only "rule" I have is that it rely heavily on Tzeentch perks, units, and characters. No Nurgle at all. Khorne and Slaanesh I could figure out some method of including if needed.

So what are the do's and do not's for them? What units are nearly mandatory, which ones are best left on the shelf?

Character builds? Synergies?

I'm in need of some direction, as I have no clue what the state of the army is.

Tzeentch armies are good fun, not themost competive but sure stilll kick arse, groups of warriors with shield and hand weapon, with mark of tzeentch they got a 5+ parry save

Chaos knigths of tzeentch are the best knigths in my opinion, because you can give them the blasted standard to half the damage of any shooting + the six up ward they get from the mark.

you can either go for what we Tzeentch players call the unkillable sorcerer or BsB taken on a deamonic steed to gain one toughness amd one wound, then you get him the third eye of tzeentch to reroll ones on ward saves, with the talisman of preservation that would be a 3+ ward save with rerolls of one.

I certainly love that.

for the rest of the army, maybe a hellcannon a spawn or two and the mutalith suits the Tzeentch theme.

^What he said the only thing i'd add to his list is a couple of MSU Khorne Chosen with Halberds to go along with 1 or 2 Tzeentch Warshines. That will give your list some punch.
