I'm looking to add a Predator to my Dark Angels at some point in the near future. However, the sponsons on the stock Predator kit are absolute garbage and snap as soon as you look at them. However, the sponsons on the Baal kit look to be a bit more robust. Does anyone have experience converting those sponsons to hold lascannons? If so, I'd love to see some examples.

I used stormraven sponsons as I also agree the whole thing looks incredibly delicate. I always liked the 2nd ed ones which were heavily armoued and had been working on a way to replicate that in a modern way.

they fit perfectly and go for cheap on ebay. just remove the hurricane bolters and you have mount for any weapon.
