Allright, these have shamefully been about 80% complete for over a year, and I finally got tired of seeing them in such a state and finished em up. The Predator is old, and I stripped the paint off it and dressed it up a lot, as this old model is quite basic. They are part of my custom chapter, Octoberforce, which loves jack-o-lanterns.

Did a fair bit of work on them with oils and washes, mainly AK interactive stuff. Also made the tracks really muddy and just generally grimy tanks that have been on an extended and brutal campaign.

Hope you enjoy, C&C welcome.

Those tanks are quite nice! I really like the weathering and details added to the hulls, which lends an air of realism to the models. The color combination works for me too and I love the jack-o-lantern on the side of the Vindicator.

The Predator is busy, but in a good way. It almost reminds me of something out of a Tank Girl comic.

Keep up the great work!

The dust is done with Ak interactive dust effects, really nice line of enamel based washes and paints. The pumpkin is macharius solar orange (not sure what the new citadel orange is called) with the details drawn in with a .005mm ink pen.

And thanks!

Man oh man, do I like these. I'll echo the Tank Girl comment - it's busy to the point of looking cartoonish, but I really dig that Predator. I also have to love anything with well-done caution stripes, so that Vindicator is aces to me. Also, your weathering is absolutely incredible. I'm frankly kind of envious of how good these tanks look.

Fantastic! The Predator is a bit busy, but I really like that turret. Is that a first generation predator?

The Vindicator is outstanding! Great job on the weathering.

What do your tac marines look like?

Thanks! I guess it does kinda look tank girl, very busy for sure. Gotta use masking tape for stripes, it's just too hard to brush paint that straight. I love doing weathering

Yes that is a 1st gen predator. I painted it when I was 17 or so as a looted ork tank, and if you think it's busy now, you should have seen it before. It was awful, lol. I completely disassembled it and stripped some very thick paint off.

My marines are all orange and heavily weathered, lots of pic in my gallery and in my signature link below.

Nice use of WHFB empire shields on the predator.
