Hey everyone the other day i bought myself the Cryx starter box and was wondering whats good to expand into the army as i dont know what units are good and which ones arent any help welcome

in about a week or more ( idk ) beastofwar will release their opinions on what to get after you get the battle box for cryx

so if you take the time to wait and play a few games just with battle box then you will know what to do with your set and should be ready for more

I generally agree with him, that Cryx plays much better by spending their points on units, because they have hands down some of the best units in the game.

So had a game today to get my head round the rule was good fun and had hold of the Cryx book so had a read and this is the list ive come up with

Denegrha

Slayer
Defiler
2x Deathrippers
Bane Lord Tartarus
10 Bane Thralls
Bane Thrall Officer & Standard
Withershadow Combine

On the warmachine side it's usually bring 1-2 jacks and then bring really good infantry. Cryx has some of the most powerful in the game.

Denegrah doesn't want to bring jacks other than arc nodes because she wants all her focus for herself to cast spells.

It's a good starter list. Denny won't really power the Slayer much, she likes her focus, and will usually be your main assassination tool. Still, it's probably one of the better lists built onto the Battlebox.

Been thinking aswell once ive learnt the rule abit more and no what im doing the jacks and caster will change to Asphixious jacks will be cankerworm, seether and deathjack
