Geoff Engelstein returns to join us in the third chair! Geoff is curious about what Craig has been up to writting the comics for Wild West Exodus. So he spends a segment grilling Craig on just what it takes to create a new comic series.

Later we dive into the heroic co-op: Sentinels of the Multiverse. Just how does this comic book hero game work and why is it so darn fun?

All that and our other not-too-horrible segments including:

- Total Fan Girl
- Do You Ever Notice
- The Hollywood Minute
- News
- & More

WOO! New episode!

Regarding Star Trek Into Darkness, my wife and I watched it and enjoyed it, but I found it to be laugh-out-loud funny as it was playing with our expectations towards the end.

Even though I enjoyed watching it, I do have to describe it as "Check your brain at the door" Star Trek

A good article I read about it is here, where a professional astronomer talks about it.

Nice interview with Craig. I left a comment on his author page on Winged Hussar Publishing's website after finding it on the McNerdigan's Pub blog.

WWX hasn't interested me thus far, but I do plan on checking out the first novel, mainly due to Craig's involvement.

Thanks, bbb! I do appreciate any support I can get on this one. Right now I'm really aiming for "Not Too Horrible" . . . but I'm not sure how that will work with a full length novel as opposed to an amateur podcast

Far-stretching, endless Time
Brings forth all hidden things,
And buries that which once did shine.
The firm resolve falters, the sacred oath is shattered;
And let none say, "It cannot happen here".

Craig, all I could think of while listening to your comments on the collateral destruction at the climax of Into Darkness was, "Wait until Craig sees Man of Steel!" The destruction in that movie puts Star Trek to shame and leaves you wondering if the locations involved in said destruction can ever economically come out of that.

That said, I enjoyed the discussion about the creation of the WWX comic. It would have been cool to have the artist on as well to get his part in the process of creating the comic. Perhaps another time. It's killing me to wait, but I am waiting for the annual compilation (which Romeo has said was coming) of the comic book rather than picking up the individual issues. In the meantime I am sure looking forward to the novels and the fluff in the core rulebook.

Haven't listened to the Sentinels of the Multiverse review yet, but will get to that soon. I've little to no interest in the game as the art really puts me off for some reason, but looking forward to the review nonetheless.

Geoff sounds a lot like political correspondent John Dickerson through my headphones and it always blows my mind to have him talk about nerd games.

Great episode, guys.
