The plan is to put the Big Mek in with the meganobz as that transport will be shot at... A lot generally.. Ill flank that waggon with 2 waggons full of shootas. the 4th waggon goes away form the rest to help threaten the other side of the board.. While it doesn't have the cover save i don't wana clump too much in one spot for them to drop large blasts on.. (5" spacing between waggons)

The lootas i have the dakkajets i wana play with they are same points cost so i can swap them depending on how much sky dakka people bring..

I'm counting on the nob bikers being shot at a lot.. As they are still scary in a lot of peoples eyes.


Thoughs on this list its my first go at trying stuff ive only managed to play about 3 games total so far and each list has been getting better (Im getting closer to not being tabled every time lol). I bought the orks back when the codex first came out and never played them in the last edition due to RL stuff. (Wife told me she was preg)

Other options i have are

Any thoughs would be appreciated. I'm aiming for an all comers list or as close to one as i can orkaly get.

I would almost suggest Swapping the Big Mek/KFF for Big Mek in MegaArmour with Boss pole to keep the manz going and adds more krumpin to the Manz group but at the cost of the cover save ..( no a big deal if there is any terrain thou)

This is really similar to the list I played for a while in 5th. I think you're going to have fun with it.

I don't think its as competitive as it was early-mid 5th though.

It's too easy to de-mech the orks now. Battlewagons give up side armor like its going out of style. 5+ for kff on vehicles now, right?

Since 6th and the nerf to KFF, I honestly have not run them. I usually take a warboss on bike like you do with cybork, squig, bosspole, kombiscorcha... I personally like in my nob bike squad 2-3 pk, 2-3 big choppas and 2-3 regular nobz, all have cybork due to pb and I try to give as many kombiskorchas - the kombiscorhas are awesome to stop charges or make them think twice and they are nice to fire prior to charging in to a big horde. The second HQ is usually a Warphead for me and I try to pput him with a 30 boyz squad with nob pk and rokkit, I personally like rokkits over big shootas as orks have so little st 8 ap3 things and we have tons of s4 or 5 stuff. I usually max on dakka jets and use warphead to try to get free waaghs. The 'ere we go can be useful to teleport the blob where I want it and shoot the crap out of stuff with shoota boyz. I like big gunz and lootas too. Another idea is lootas in battlewaggons as they already need 5 or 6's to hit what is snap firing to them lol. Good luck

6ed changes to guess weapons make lobbas stupid good for their points. 9 of them means no heavy support battlewagons though.
