Subject: 1500 point Eldar list

Greetings. Here's my 1500 point list of Eldar. I went for a pretty mechy approach because I love having lots of mobility.
HQ:
Spiritseer
Troops:
2x 10 man Guardian defenders with starcannon platform in Waveserpent with scatterlaser, holo fields and vectored engines
5 man Wraithguard with wraithcannons in Waveserpent with Brightlances, holo fields and vectored engines
2x 3 man jetbikes squads with 1 cannon each
3 man jetbikes
Fast Attack:
Nightwing interceptor
Heavy Support:
2x Fire prisms with holo fields.
Total = 1498
The main idea is for all the serpents and prisms to move towards the midfield and be aggressive while the bikes sit back and hide until the last turn to sweep objectives.
Any feedback would be great!

gardians with serpents need changes. first, take a nose cannon instead of vectored engines, then take a SL or SC instead of star cannons.

I agree that the guardians in the boat don't really need a great weapon or frankly no heavy upgrade at all for that matter as they are to sit in transport anyway... may want to run 5 man DA in serpeants, they are cheaper and you could take more stuff, but up to you... May save enough for a few warlocks on jetbike to help keep them alive with protect or conceal... I like shuricannons on uderslung as well if you move only 6" you can fire both weapons and the serpent shield and twin linked to boot. Another consideration is wraithblades with axes and shields as they are mainly going to be in the boat and if get out will help them be beatsticks and stay alive longer... Park the WS infront of them when they get out and then next turn move WS and charge... sith spiritsear if gets destructor or protect would be a boost for them, if take Iyaden powers would make them fleet Wraithblades I meen

The main reason I considered the Star cannon is to put down MEQs. Although I should have probably mentioned that. But I could remove the engines for the underslug shuriken cannon. I was think too much about positioning when they guardians disembark.

Personally, I don't really like Dire avengers in the new book. I took guardians because I want some of my troops to be able to pack a punch, Because otherwise, my wave serpents will pretty much be the only "troop" that can deliver some firepower. You do have a point about the warlocks on bikes. But since my bikes are just going to hide until the later turns, would it be worth it if I remove the shuriken cannons?

you pack enough of a punch with just 10 guardians in a wave serpent. the vectored engines aren't necessary you are moving up 6" unloading them to about the front of the wave serpent and then either running and firing 12" or vice versa. This should be happening turn 2 after you move forward 12" on your first turn (possibly turn 1 if they are being aggressive and moving towards you.
Also you need one backfield objective taker. Drop 1 Jetbike squad for 1 ranger squad of 5.
Personally i think you need more anti av 14, but you also need more firepower in general. hmmm...you're in a rough spot...definitely drop the flyer. Take warp spiders instead much better all around unit. your choice on heavy though. Iike Walkers a lot. some people really prefer Fire Prisms though. Try both and see what works.

I'm just wondering why you would take a spirit seer but dont drop 5 wraith guard into a serpent as troops.

But that's exactly what I did. You'll find them under the troops section.
