Hello dakka,
I recently have become interested in playing 40k. I got a small army started and will eventually expand, but I am looking for locals to play with and teach me. From my research, I have been told it's easier to learn by playing some games with an experienced player, and then read up on the rules than it is to tackle the whole book and then start playing. I live in the hartford area of CT, and I think there are some places that sell 40k in manchester. I'm willing to travel a little to meet up with someone who's willing to help a newbie out.
If you are willing to help and in the area, please add me on facebook (https://www.facebook.com/ryan.re1) or give me a call or text at 860-798-6140, I'm sure it will be easier than forgetting to check for pm's here (Mods I don't believe this is against the rules but I apologize if it is)
Thanks, hope to be adding to the community soon!
