i was wondering, for the Swarmlord from the nids, what does everyone think on the psychic powers, what would be better, telepathy or biomancy?

Personally I am in favor of rolling Biomancy. BUT if you get Iron Arm early, switch over to Telepathy after that. Id usually rather get two Biomancy than Invisible.

It depends on your set up but 90 % of the time I run bio. If I get real lucky with my rolls I'll try to jump to Telekinesis and try for dome. I would like to try puppet master out.... I don't like items that eat up both of my warp charges though.

Biomancy, I haven't enough favor with lady luck to try on TP and TK unless I already have Iron Arm and Warp Speed/Endurance.

I'd roll Bio until I got Iron Arm, then I'd switch to Telepathy. If I got lucky and rolled Invisibility right away, I'd switch to Telekenesis.
Generally, though, Bio has lots of good powers and you may not always want Invisibility or Gate.

Roll on Bio until you get iron arm. Then the choice is yours. Iron arm is undoubtedly the best psychic power in the game bar maybe fortune (2 charge really hurt that). Normally Iron Arm and Endurance are the two best to go for, but Invisibility can be really nice when the enemy is throwing a lot of lascannons and stuff at the swarmlord.

Iron and Warp Speed is the perfect combo on swarmy! They're both on Bio so I tend to use all my rolls going for them.

Depends on what your facing..
Most times I prefer Telekenesis so I can jump forward and also get the 5+ inv save. I do this at turn 2 because then my 2 trygons, outflanking tervigon, doom, 2x ymgarl genestealers and flying hive get unto the board on a 2+. Swarmlord needs to be right up their with the rest of them. The other tervigon I deployed with him can also give him endurance before he jumps forward.
Iron arm is great but I still think he's to slow to make a big difference...

Biomancy almost every time.
In order of preference:
1) Iron Arm
2) Warp Speed
3) Endurance
If I get all three of those, the last roll will depend on what I am facing.
I run my Swarmlord as part of the LashGuard/LashPrime deathstar though, so Iron Arm/Endurance for the approach and then Iron Arm/Warp Speed for combat is my perfect setup.
Not enormously creative, but I would like to think I compensate there with 3-9 Zoanthropes using a very wide variety of powers.
